I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the course on Thursday. I had 2 very nervous patients on Friday. The first a 60+ year old frail lady needing root canal. I used the 'special place' technique on her and she did not move a muscle during the whole treatment. The previous appointment had been a complete nightmare with her getting heart palpitations and very jittery. My dental nurse says she actually enjoyed doing root canal - usually it is her pet hate. We were both very relaxed afterwards. The second patient a big bruiser of a bloke 54 and never been to the dentist - we managed to calm him down with the breathing techniques and the 'three things'. Not quite as successful as for our lady, but still a great improvement on his previous treatments.
I am now completely hooked and would like to go on some further courses.
Many thanks for a great course.
